Ephesians 3:18-19: And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Psalm 37:39-40: The Lord rescues the godly; He is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in Him.
These verses were from two different readings this morning but they fit so well together. The love of God is too wide, too long, too deep, too high for my understanding and yet He is always there to give it. His love is what provides the shelter for me.
God is good all the time...all the time God is good.
