Getting caught up ...

... said no scrapper ever.  Well, I get to say it!  I have one more scrapbooking project and I'm caught up with recent pictures.  One day I'll get to my "heritage" pictures.  But I don't count that as not being caught up :)

And, yes, I have my Christmas cards done for this year.  Well...I have to put the sentiment on the inside and address the envelopes, but they are almost done :)

It's birthday time!

My Grandson's birthday was this weekend and I made him this shirt (the theme was construction).  It was the first vinyl project I did.  I've got another vinyl project to work on but I keep buying the wrong vinyl!

This card is one of my favorite to do.  It is fairly easy but looks complicated - real impressive to the non-crafter :)

I've got some more projects to work on, including getting ready for a crop on Saturday.  Thanks for stopping by, Susan

It's a long weekend!

I look forward to long weekends so I can play with my scrapping stuff.  It's a challenge to get to scrap since we are living in a temporary apartment for another 2.5 months.  Two days in a row, I've pulled everything out and crafted for a bit and then my Grandson has come over.  As much as I'd love to craft with him, he's only two so that wouldn't end well!

But... I have gotten two cards done this weekend.

My Grandson's birthday is next weekend and his party is a construction theme.  I had pieced the backhoe together last week and today made it a slider card.  So much easier than I thought (the slider).

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm hoping I'll get to post again tomorrow... assuming my sweet boy doesn't come calling!  Susan

Playing with my Scan N Cut

I love, love, love my Scan N Cut.  The card was made using it.  It cuts lovely intricate designs.  Here are some projects from the last scrap day at church.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day.  Susan

Recent projects

It's been a long time (if feels like) since I've posted any projects.  We have been living in an apartment while our condo is being built.  It's tough having so much of my stuff in storage.  It seems like every time I go to get some scrappy tool, I can't get to it because I didn't pack the storage shed very well!

But I've learned to use my Brother Scan N Cut and I LOVE IT!  It is so much better than the "other" machine (that starts with a C).  So much more versatile...and cuts much, much better.

Well, here are some cards/projects I've completed lately.

I've had all day to myself and instead of playing with my paper and tools, I spent the day watching Hallmark movies and organizing my pictures and card/layout samples.  It's been a good day so I can't complain.

I'm looking forward to moving (in January).  One of the first things I'm going to order for the condo is an Original Scrapbox.  I wanted the mini box but my SNC won't fit it in so I guess I'm going to have to upgrade to the Her Hobby Box.

Have a great rest of the weekend and make something to give to someone!  Thanks for stopping by, Susan

Caught up!

At least for right now.  Well, if truth be told, I'm caught up with recent pictures.  I still have lots of pictures from when I was younger and of my husband when he was a kid.  And although I have my finished pages in chronological order, they are not in page protectors.

But still, I'm caught up enough that I can start playing around with cards.

Here's what I've gotten done lately.

Thanks for looking.  Hopefully my creativity will change someone's life...Susan

Happy Birthday

My son's birthday was last week and here is the card I did for him.

Cut out the stars in foam and used them for a stamp.

Weekend Crop

I spent a wonderful 3 days with some fun ladies cropping.  I got 27 pages done - all my projects except one.  I love spending time with my scrappy friends.
