Cards for ministry at Church
Many of you know I used to make cards for OperationWriteHome but they have ceased operations because many of the units receiving our cards have come home and the demand is very low (which is great news). So....what to do with all these cards I want to make? For now I'm going to donate them to church for the card ministry. Here are some I worked on over the weekend.

Scrap Retreat, Part 2
Here are the pages for my son and DIL's book for the baby. I wanted to get some done ahead of time that she could pick whatever pics she loved the most to put in. Getting so excited for that first grandchild to come next month!
Thanks for looking...have a great day, Susan

Scrap retreat, Part 1
Found a great place for a scrapping good retreat! In Lancaster/Amanda, Ohio ... Maple Brook Memories. If you are local you'll want to check out this Crafting B&B. It was a beautiful setting and I got lots of work done.
I've got another set of pages that I did for my son and daughter-in-law's book that I'll post separately. Thanks for stopping by, Susan

Cards this year
I really have been working in my scrap room! We've had a busy year and this summer is just as packed with things to do. My son and DIL moved in while they were looking for a house ... 3.5 months so far. They are finally in contract and we are all so happy.
I have my first grandchild coming in September so I've been busy crocheting for him. I'm very excited about this newest addition to our family.
I did get some cards made.
These two were for graduations - niece (below) graduated with her Masters and her boyfriend (above) graduated from medical school.
Isn't this a sweet baby shower card. I may just have to recreate it for another one!
I was playing around with heat embossing and decided to go with sympathy cards. Hope I don't need them for awhile.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a lovely day and be sure to create something! Susan

Layouts this year
It's been busy, busy this year. I was working on a scrapbook for my niece's guy. He graduated from medical school and she wanted to chronicle the years he's worked so hard. She loved what we did (my sister helped too) and kept sending us pictures. 32 came a week before we were to give it to him. She really had no idea how much work goes into a page...but we did it, and it was all worth it when he saw it. He was speechless and you could see how much it meant to him.
Here are some pages I've done for my book.
I'm going to be a Grandma this year (in September) and this is the card my kids got me! I did the page before I remembered I wanted to put the card on it. Should've changed the orange for pink!
I've recently bought a Cuttlebug and got a great deal in a FB group for a ton of dies. Gotta start playing with it more. And I'm working on baby pages for my book and my son/daughter-in-law's book. I think I'll do a brag book for her mom too. I'm gonna keep busy!
You'll see less cards here. OperationWriteHome.org is wrapping up their mission since the demand for cards has reduced considerably. Our military is going home and she has decided not to redirect her mission. So until I find a new organization to support, I won't be doing many cards. I have all the birthday cards ready for my family for the coming year.

Weekend project
My son got married almost a year ago. I made them a wedding book but never did my pages. This weekend a friend and I holed up in a hotel room and scrapped all weekend. Here are some of the pages I got done. I did make other pages but I gave to my sister before taking pictures of them.
