Layouts from Saturday's Crop
Here are the first set of pages. The first page is from our trip to Detroit. My Dad was living there and running a motel. We weren't going to stop because...well, it was awkward. We went anyway. I'm so glad we did. My Dad passed 2 months later.
I rarely do pages focused on my husband so I thought I'd take some of his work pictures and do a page.

OWH Challenge
I completed two cards today (well, multiple of those two) along with some scrapbook pages. We spent all day Saturday scrapping at church. I'll show those pages throughout the week.
Here are my cards. This first one is for the Operation Write Home Challenge today.
I hope you have a great week. Thanks for stopping by. Susan

Patterned paper
I needed a piece of patterned paper for a layout for our visit to the Dayton Air Museum and didn't have the right piece. I didn't want to head out to Michaels or Hobby Lobby because I knew I'd buy more than one piece of paper ... face it, that's like going to the store to buy a gallon of milk - you know we leave with so much more!
Then I remembered the stamps my hubby bought me for Christmas. I used the dotted one for the background and then used a thrift-store find (a fabric stamp) for the flag.
I think it came out pretty neat. Tomorrow is my church crop so I'll post the finished page next week sometime.
I am finishing up my page kits for tomorrow and then I may go to bed early. These hot flashes and going to the bathroom 3-4 times a night is wreaking havoc with my sleep!

More cards today
Yeah, I got in my scrap room for a couple more hours today. Here are some more cards I made.
This first card was inspired by Stamping Bug Blog. I never thought to use these borders this way.
I saw a card on SRM Stickers blog that inspired this one. Love brown and pink together.
My nephew is having some health issues and will have to go to the Cleveland Clinic for more testing. I made this card for him based on one I found at Our Daily Bread.
I hope your weekend was relaxing...although I could use a few more days! Keep your heart open and let your creativity change someone. Susan
